Concrete Cleaning in Montague, Bowie, Wichita Falls & North Texas

We use a rotary surface cleaner rather than a single wand — that's what causes the stripe patterns on a lot of pressure-washed driveways. Oil stains get degreaser pre-treatment before the machine runs. Full perimeter edging. Serving Montague, Bowie, Wichita Falls, and North Texas.

Concrete cleaning has two variables: using the right tool and treating oil before the machine runs. A rotary surface cleaner spins a water jet at a fixed geometry across the surface so every inch gets the same treatment — no stripes, no uneven cleaning from a wand moving at human speed. Oil doesn't come out with water pressure alone; you need a degreaser to emulsify it first. Fresh to moderate oil stains come out well. Old oil that's been soaking in for years may lighten significantly but not fully disappear — we'll tell you what to expect before we start.

What's Included

What Our Concrete Cleaning Service Covers

1

Rotary surface cleaner — no stripe marks

The cleaner head spins at a consistent speed and distance, delivering uniform pressure across the full surface. Every inch gets the same treatment. No stripe patterns.

2

Degreaser pre-treatment for oil and grease

Applied to oil-stained areas and allowed to dwell before the main wash. The degreaser emulsifies the oil so the pressure wash can extract it. Old, deep-set stains may lighten but not fully disappear — we'll say so upfront.

3

Full perimeter wand edging

The surface cleaner can't reach right to walls, curbs, and steps. We wand the border areas after the main pass so the whole surface looks consistent — no unclean ring around the edges.

4

Rust stain treatment with oxalic acid

Fertilizer and irrigation rust stains require acid treatment, not pressure. We carry rust remover and address these separately. Results depend on stain depth and age.

5

Driveways, patios, pool decks, sidewalks, parking pads

Any concrete or paver surface. We adjust pressure for sealed or decorative concrete — stamped and colored concrete with a topical sealer needs lower pressure to avoid stripping the finish.

The Process

How Concrete Cleaning Works

Pre-treat oil stains

Degreaser goes on oil-contaminated areas first and dwells while we set up the surface cleaner. The chemical does the initial work before the pressure wash runs.

Surface cleaner pass

We run the cleaner across the full surface in overlapping passes. The oil, degreaser, organic staining, and grime all come up together.

Wand edging

We clean border areas — up to walls, curbs, steps, and landscape edging — with a wand at the same pressure. No unclean ring around the perimeter.

Rinse and walkthrough

Final rinse, then we walk through with you (or send photos for remote clients) to confirm coverage before loading up.

Why Clean Freak

Why Choose Clean Freak for Concrete Cleaning?

The stripe pattern on a lot of pressure-washed driveways comes from a single wand in a human hand — inconsistent speed and distance means inconsistent pressure, and the contrast shows clearly when it dries. The rotary surface cleaner fixes this because the geometry is fixed while you walk. If you've had your driveway pressure washed before and it came back with stripes, that's what happened. We use the surface cleaner on every concrete job for exactly that reason.

Common Questions

Concrete Cleaning — Questions & Answers

Can you remove oil stains from my driveway?
Fresh to moderately aged oil stains come out well with degreaser pre-treatment and pressure washing — you'll see a significant improvement. Old stains that have been soaking in for years may lighten but not fully disappear because oil penetrates progressively deeper into the concrete over time. We look at the stains during the estimate and tell you what to expect. We charge for oil treatment as part of the service regardless of the final result.
Why does my driveway have stripe marks after pressure washing?
Stripes come from wand cleaning — a single nozzle held at varying distance and speed creates inconsistent cleaning intensity. Areas where the wand passed slow or close get cleaned more aggressively, and the contrast shows when dry. Our rotary surface cleaner maintains fixed geometry across every pass, so the result is uniform.
Should I seal my concrete after cleaning?
Sealing isn't required, but it extends the time between professional cleanings and makes spills bead up rather than absorbing immediately. We don't apply concrete sealer ourselves, but we'll advise on timing (concrete needs to be fully dry before sealing) and what product type works for your surface.
How long before I can use my driveway after pressure washing?
Under normal North Texas summer sun, freshly washed concrete is dry within 2–4 hours. Shaded or north-facing concrete takes longer. We recommend keeping vehicle traffic off until fully dry to avoid tire tracking.
Can you clean stamped or decorative concrete?
Yes, with reduced pressure. Stamped and decorative concrete is typically sealed with a topical sealer that can cloud or peel under high pressure. We adjust down and avoid acidic cleaners on sealed decorative surfaces. If the sealer is already damaged or missing, the concrete itself can handle more pressure.
